Hard Drive Partition Running on Low Disk Space in Windows 2008

"The boot volume C drive is running out of disk space on my Windows Server 2008. And I want to increase the size of C drive. Well, it is a 160GB Seagate hard drive that has been divided into three partitions on my computer. The C drive only has 30GB space in total, and now there is only 2GB free space left. Another partition D drive has 80GB space in total and it still has about 60GB free space. So I want to move some free space from D drive to C drive. Is there any way to extend C drive on Windows Server 2008 by moving free space from D drive without repartitioning the hard disk?"

"Server is running out of disk space on system partition on my PC. Can I extend the system partition space without reinstalling system or reformatting the hard disk? My PC is running Windows Server 2008 operating system. There is unallocated space on my PC, but it is not contiguous to the system partition. So I cannot extend the system partition under Disk Management. Can anybody share some useful solution?"

Moving Free Space on Same Hard Drive to Expand Partition

In order to move free space from a partition, you merely need to shrink the partition that has free space. Methods to shrink a partition.
