The c-drive of your system is separated to use as a primary partition. It contains the operating system, system files, programs you install on your computer, browsing cookies, and other temporary files.

After a certain period, the c-drive starts to fill with unnecessary updates of the system and application programs. In some cases, the c-drive on your windows server 2008 R2 might show “full disk space” dialogue, but it is not actually full.   • Press Window+R
  • Type “%temp%” and press enter or click on “Ok”
  • Select all files from the new window and delete them
