You only need to rely a third-party partition software when boot partition is running out of disk space on Windows Server such as Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows SBS, and Windows Server R2 and more...
How could I extend the boot volume on my PC which runs Windows Server 2008 R2 SBS operating system? It says that the boot volume is running out of disk space and I need to remove some data to free up space. What should I do?
Nobody want to run into low disk space problem on boot partition on Windows Server 2003 OS, because it is difficult to resize the partition. However, if you can rely on a third-party partition software, it will be quite easy to extend boot partition or other partition on Windows Server.
