I want to extend C drive on Windows Server 2003 R2. There is about 40GB free space on the hard disk. Has anybody successfully extended Windows Server 2003 R2 C drive? Please advise!
Hello, the C drive on my Windows Server 2008 R8 really runs low, so I have to extend the C drive space to avoid unexpected disaster caused by low disk space on C. I have tried Disk Management to free some unallocated space, but I cannot move the unallocated space to C drive. Can anybody tell me why? What should I do next?
I have spend several hours to install Windows Server 2003 R2 operating system on my computer, but installing PC shows low disk space warning on the C drive. I don't want to reinstall the system, but how can I increase the size of C drive in such a situation?
If you want to expand C drive on Windows Server 2008, you can rely on Windows built-in Disk Management which is able to shrink and extend disk partition. If you cannot expand a C drive with Disk Management on Windows Server 2008 R2, you may rely on a third-party partition software.
