You can resize disk partition in VMware on Windows operating system with help of thir-party partition softawre. Usually, you can resize system partition, boot partition, primary partition and data volume on Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows 8/7/XP/Vista, and mmore.
If you want to resize disk partition in VMware, free space is needed on the same virtual disk. If there is no free space, you need to extend the virtual disk first of all before resizing the disk partition.
